Apparently football is so important that you are supposed to put it ahead of your pregnant wife...New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress was fined $8,000 by Giants Head Idiot Tom Coughlin because he skipped a team meeting to go to an ultrasound for his wife. Isn't it so much better when all the stories about players' family lives involve them getting arrested for domestic abuse or something like that? I just love it how these football coaches are charged with creating a "culture of accountability" on their team and then shit like this happens. Yup...you gotta be accountable enough to put a stupid football team ahead of your wife and unborn child's health. You know marriages have been destroyed over husbands skipping ultrasounds *thinks Nine Months* Kudos to Burress on this one for doing what he knew was right. The one consolation for the side of justice in this one is that 8000 bucks is only about 1/3 or so of one of Burress' game checks *cough*
